Top 5 AEO, GEO & SEO Agencies in Texas (2026)

Five verified AEO, GEO and SEO agencies for Texas B2B teams, with selection criteria, a comparison table, privacy notes, questions to ask and red flags.

Short answerFor Texas B2B teams, our 2026 shortlist is Lemniscate Growth, Thrive Internet Marketing Agency, WrightIMC, Funnel Boost Media and Geek Powered Studios. Choose based on your industry, whether the agency describes AI search work explicitly, and how it will connect visibility to pipeline rather than rankings alone.

Texas is not one search market. An Austin SaaS company, a Houston healthcare technology vendor and a Midland oilfield services firm sell to different buyers, on different cycles, using different words for the same problem.

What they share is a change in how shortlists form. Engineers, plant managers and IT leads now ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI Overviews to name vendors before they fill out a form. If those answers leave you out or describe you poorly, you may never know the deal existed.

This list covers five agencies that can help Texas companies with SEO and, in some cases, answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO). Entries after the first are in no particular order.

Disclosure: this list is published by Lemniscate Growth, which is included. We describe every firm, including our own, from what it publishes on its website. Last checked: September 2026.

How we chose

  • The firm is operating today, with a website we could load and review.
  • It lists SEO or search services on its own site.
  • It publishes a Texas office location. The exception is Lemniscate Growth, which works remotely and says so below.
  • It describes its services, industries or approach specifically enough for a buyer to judge fit.
  • We could confirm its correct name and website during our check.

We did not use paid placements, third-party ratings or award counts. Inclusion is based on what each firm publishes on its own site, and we attribute self-reported claims to the firm.

1. Lemniscate Growth

Lemniscate Growth is a B2B revenue pipeline generation agency, and AEO, GEO and SEO are a core part of how it builds pipeline. It is registered in the US and Dubai, runs its delivery team from Hyderabad and works with 35+ active clients. Programs are scoped around pipeline goals of up to $10M per client rather than traffic targets.

Best for: Texas B2B software, IT services and industrial technology companies that sell to national or global buyers and want search and AI answer visibility tied to pipeline.

Services: AEO, GEO and SEO, technical and category content, AI visibility benchmarking, account-based marketing, lead generation and wider go-to-market support.

Why it made the list: This is our own firm, so weigh that accordingly. We include it because search-led pipeline is the work we do most, for example $6.4M in pipeline from organic search for IQLECT and growth from 50K to 600K monthly users in 11 months for HiddenBrains. We have no Texas office, so teams that want an agency in the room for workshops, or local SEO across many storefronts, may be better served by one of the firms below.

2. Thrive Internet Marketing Agency

Thrive says it is headquartered in Arlington and lists Texas offices in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, plus locations in other states. It is a full-service digital agency, and search takes up a large share of its site, from local and technical SEO to enterprise and franchise SEO. It says it works on month-to-month contracts.

Best for: Texas companies with several locations or brands that want one agency covering SEO, AI search and paid channels.

Services: SEO (local, technical, enterprise and franchise), AI SEO and generative engine optimization, including work aimed at Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT and Gemini, plus paid media, content marketing and web design.

Why it made the list: Its site names AI search services explicitly, and its office footprint covers the state's major metros. Ask which office would staff your account and how AI visibility is measured and reported alongside rankings.

3. WrightIMC

WrightIMC is based in Allen, north of Dallas. Its about page describes an integrated marketing communications approach, coordinating several channels instead of working as a single-discipline shop, while noting the firm's roots in search engine marketing.

Best for: Texas brands that want SEO planned together with reputation management, social and content, especially where search results about the company itself need attention.

Services: SEO and local SEO, PPC management, online reputation management, content and social media marketing, web development, analytics services and ecommerce SEO.

Why it made the list: AI assistants draw on reviews, news and forum threads when they describe a company, so reputation work and SEO belong in the same plan. WrightIMC lists both. Its site did not describe AEO or GEO services when we checked, so ask how its search team handles AI answers.

4. Funnel Boost Media

Funnel Boost Media lists its office in San Antonio. Its site pairs website builds with SEO and paid campaigns, and says it structures content so that Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity can cite a brand directly.

Best for: Service businesses and professional firms in South and Central Texas that want a website, SEO and AI search work from one team.

Services: Website design and development, local and national SEO, AI search optimization (which it also calls generative engine optimization), PPC management, social media advertising, lead generation and branding.

Why it made the list: It describes AI search optimization as a named service rather than a footnote. The industries it lists lean toward home improvement, legal, healthcare, financial and professional services, so B2B technology companies should ask for examples closer to their own buyers.

5. Geek Powered Studios

Geek Powered Studios is headquartered in Austin with an office in San Antonio, and its site notes that it has worked with remote talent across the country since the pandemic. It describes a return-on-investment approach built on audits, audience research and ongoing testing.

Best for: Austin and San Antonio companies, especially in healthcare and home services, that want SEO, paid search and web design handled together.

Services: SEO, PPC and paid search, web design and development on WordPress, Webflow and Shopify, social media, email marketing, ecommerce marketing and digital strategy audits.

Why it made the list: It pairs Austin roots with a clear list of industries, including healthcare specialties and home services, and it names B2B work as well. We did not find AEO or GEO described on its site, so ask how it tracks visibility in AI answers in addition to rankings.

How to choose an AEO, GEO or SEO agency in Texas

Match the agency to your Texas industry

Energy, industrial and manufacturing buyers ask narrow technical questions about specifications, certifications, compatibility and lead times. Pages that answer those questions plainly, in text a crawler can read, serve Google and AI assistants at the same time.

Semiconductor and advanced manufacturing suppliers face the same challenge with even more specialized vocabulary. An agency needs regular access to your engineers, or its content will be too generic to help a buyer or earn a citation.

Austin SaaS companies usually compete nationally, so the relevant comparison set is other software vendors, not other Austin businesses. Houston healthcare and health technology vendors need a review step for clinical and compliance claims before anything is published.

Understand how AI answers and Google build shortlists

Google says there are no additional requirements to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond normal Search eligibility: a page must be indexed and eligible to show with a snippet, according to its guidance on AI features. Technical SEO basics still decide whether you can be cited at all.

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot each assemble answers differently, and the sources they cite shift over time. A good agency tests a fixed set of buyer prompts across them and reports how you are described. Our guide on benchmarking AI visibility explains one way to set that up.

Decide on English and Spanish content

Whether you need Spanish content depends on your buyers, not on the state average. If field technicians, distributors, patients or small business owners research in Spanish, build Spanish pages written or reviewed by native speakers and include Spanish prompts in your AI visibility tests.

Machine-translated pages rarely read as credible. If your buyers are procurement and IT teams working in English, put the effort into English technical depth first.

Check privacy compliance before adding tracking

The Texas Data Privacy and Security Act took effect July 1, 2024, according to the Texas Attorney General. It applies to companies that do business in Texas or produce products or services consumed by Texas residents and that process personal data. Small businesses as defined by the SBA are generally exempt, except that they need consent before selling sensitive data.

Ask any agency how its analytics, form tracking and retargeting setup will respect consent choices, and involve your counsel before changes go live.

For more on specific metros, see our pages for Texas, Austin, Houston and Dallas. If you sell mainly into North Texas, our Dallas agency list covers different firms, and the AEO and GEO playbook explains the method in more depth.

Questions to ask on the first call

  1. Which Texas industries have you worked in, and can you show technical content you produced for one of them?
  2. How do you test our visibility in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google AI Overviews, and how often?
  3. Who writes our content, and how will you get time with our engineers or product team?
  4. Do you recommend Spanish-language pages for our buyers, and who would write and review them?
  5. What analytics or tracking changes would you make, and how do they account for the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act?
  6. How will you connect search and AI visibility to pipeline in our CRM?
  7. Which office and which people will work on our account day to day?

Red flags

  • Guaranteed first-page rankings or guaranteed mentions in ChatGPT. No agency controls those outcomes.
  • An AI search pitch with no method for testing prompts or tracking citations over time.
  • Content plans built on volume alone, with no access to your subject matter experts.
  • Machine-translated Spanish pages published without native review.
  • Reporting that stops at traffic and rankings, with no link to leads or pipeline.
  • Vague answers about who owns the content, accounts and data if you part ways.

Which agencies on this Texas list say they offer AI search optimization?

Based on their own websites when we checked in September 2026, Thrive lists generative engine optimization and work aimed at Google AI Overviews, and Funnel Boost Media lists AI search optimization. Lemniscate Growth offers AEO, GEO and SEO as a core service. WrightIMC and Geek Powered Studios list SEO but did not describe AI search services on the pages we reviewed, so ask them directly.

Does the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act affect SEO and AEO work?

It can. The Texas Attorney General describes the Act as effective July 1, 2024, covering companies that do business in Texas or serve Texas residents and process personal data, with small businesses as defined by the SBA generally exempt. Analytics, form tracking and lead capture involve personal data, so review any new tracking an agency proposes with your counsel.

Do Texas B2B companies need Spanish-language content for AI search?

Not always. It depends on who buys from you. If field technicians, distributors, patients or small business owners research in Spanish, publish Spanish pages written or reviewed by native speakers and test Spanish prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini and Google. If your buyers are English-speaking procurement or IT teams, technical depth in English is usually the better first investment.

Should a Texas company hire a local agency or a remote specialist?

Decide based on the work, not the zip code. A Texas agency helps if you want in-person workshops, local SEO across many locations or a partner who knows regional media. A remote specialist can fit better when the job is technical content and AI answer visibility for national B2B buyers. Either way, ask who does the work and how results are reported.
