Executive content on LinkedIn has become a real B2B channel. Buyers follow the people behind a company long before they fill out a form, and a founder or CEO with a clear point of view can warm up accounts that sales has struggled to reach.
The trouble is choosing help. A lot of LinkedIn ghostwriting is done by solo writers and small studios that are hard to evaluate, and a lot of "personal branding" is follower growth with no business outcome. This list covers firms whose own websites describe a real executive content, ghostwriting or thought leadership service for B2B leaders. Some are LinkedIn-first, some are thought leadership consultancies, one is video-first and one is a content platform with a managed service. We say which is which.
Disclosure: this list is published by Lemniscate Growth, which is included. Every other firm is described using only what its own website says.
Last checked: September 2026.
How we chose
No firm paid to be included. Inclusion is based on public information on each firm's own website, which we loaded and reviewed in September 2026.
- A stated executive content service. Ghostwriting, executive thought leadership, expert visibility or executive video, described on the firm's own site.
- B2B focus. Evidence that the firm works with B2B companies, professional services or enterprise leaders.
- Currently operating. A live site with 2026 activity such as a current copyright notice or dated posts.
- No engagement shortcuts. We excluded engagement pods, follower sales and automation tools sold as a "brand" service.
- Clear fit. Enough detail to tell what kind of executive and company each firm serves best.
Pure LinkedIn ghostwriting firms that we could verify are scarce, so the category here is intentionally broader. The order after Lemniscate is not a ranking.

How to choose a LinkedIn ghostwriting or executive branding agency
1. Inspect the voice capture process
Great executive content starts with interviews, not templates. Ask how often they will talk to the executive, who does the interviewing, and how they turn raw opinions into posts. If the answer is a questionnaire and an AI tool, expect generic output.
2. Agree on an approval workflow
Decide who approves each post, how fast, and when legal or communications must review. Regulated companies need this written down before the first draft.
3. Keep ownership of the account
The executive owns the profile and the relationships. LinkedIn's User Agreement asks members to keep passwords confidential, so ask for drafts you post yourself or a scheduling tool with approved access. Replies and direct messages should stay with the executive.
4. Ask about automation
LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots and other unauthorized automated methods for activity such as commenting, liking and messaging. An agency that runs automated engagement or pods puts the executive's account and reputation at risk.
5. Measure business signals, not likes
Agree on metrics that matter: audience quality against your ICP, inbound messages, meeting requests, speaking invitations and opportunities where buyers mention the content.
6. Connect content to your pipeline motion
Executive content works harder when it reaches the same accounts your team is already pursuing through ABM, outbound or events. Ask how the agency will coordinate with sales and marketing.
7. Check the substance behind the posts
Posting frequency is easy. Having something worth saying is hard. Look for agencies that bring research, customer insight or a clear editorial point of view.
Questions to ask on the first call
- Who will write for our executive, and what B2B topics have they written about?
- How many hours per month will you need from the executive?
- Walk me through your interview, drafting and approval process.
- Will you ever need our LinkedIn login? If so, why?
- Do you use any automation for commenting, liking, connecting or messaging?
- What will you report monthly, and how do you connect it to pipeline?
- How do you repurpose content across newsletters, podcasts, events and sales follow-up?
- What happens to drafts and content assets if we part ways?
Red flags
- Guaranteed follower counts or viral reach.
- Engagement pods, comment automation or bought followers.
- Requests for the executive's password.
- No interviews, just prompts and generic drafts.
- Reports that show impressions and likes but nothing about who engaged.
- Invented anecdotes or opinions the executive does not hold.
- No plan for what happens after someone comments or messages.
