For SAP partners, the next few years are shaped by one shift: customers moving from older ERP releases to S/4HANA, often through RISE with SAP. SAP has said mainstream maintenance for its Business Suite 7 core applications runs to the end of 2027, and many customers are still deciding when, how and with whom to move. That creates demand, but it also means every SAP SI, consulting firm and ISV is chasing the same accounts with a similar migration message.
This list is for marketing and practice leaders at SAP implementation partners, consulting firms and ISVs who want outside help turning that demand into pipeline. The category is thin. None of the other firms below presents itself as an SAP partner marketing specialist on its own site, so the list mixes channel and partner support firms, demand generation companies with channel programs, and a B2B tech agency focused on transformation consultancies. Several mainly serve vendors running partner programs, which each entry notes.
A note on fit: Lemniscate's partner ecosystem case studies are Salesforce and ServiceNow work, not SAP. The approach carries over, but weigh that when you compare.
Disclosure: this list is published by Lemniscate Growth, which is included.
Last checked: September 2026.
How we chose
- Verified operating website: the site loads and shows 2025 or 2026 activity, such as a current copyright line or dated content.
- A genuine partner or ecosystem service: a dedicated page about partner marketing, channel programs, MDF execution, SI co-selling or marketing for transformation firms.
- Enterprise B2B relevance: evidence of work for technology vendors, partners or IT services companies with long, committee-driven sales cycles.
- Stated location: a headquarters or office addresses published on the firm's own site.
- Clarity about method: a visible explanation of how leads are qualified, handed off and tracked to pipeline.
No firm paid to be included. Inclusion is based on public information on each firm's own website, reviewed in September 2026. The order after entry 1 is not a ranking. None of the other firms describes itself as an official SAP marketing partner on the pages we reviewed, so ask directly if that status matters to you.

How to choose a marketing agency for SAP partners
Start with the installed base, not the whole market
Migration demand is concentrated in companies still running older SAP releases. A good agency builds the account list from that base, adds industry, region and recent triggers such as finance transformation or new leadership, and only then chooses channels.
Write for the CFO and the CIO at the same time
S/4HANA decisions are business decisions with a technical core. Finance wants cost, risk and timing; IT wants architecture, clean core and a credible migration path. Ask how the agency would build content and outreach that serves both without diluting either.
Separate your offers
RISE with SAP programs for large enterprises, GROW with SAP for midsize companies, and add-on products from ISVs reach different buyers through different routes. An agency should plan distinct segments and messages instead of one generic S/4HANA campaign.
Use the SAP event calendar for meetings
SAP Sapphire, ASUG gatherings and local user groups bring customers and SAP staff together. The value is in pre-booked meetings, executive roundtables and tight follow-up. Ask for the plan and how meetings turn into opportunities.
Check how leads are qualified and handed off
Migration projects have long cycles, so most early responses are research, not buying. Look for a clear qualification standard, a handoff to your sellers within days, and nurture for accounts that are a year or more away.
Treat partner funds carefully
Public detail on SAP partner funding is limited and programs change, so confirm entitlements in the partner portal before you plan around them. Build proof of performance into every campaign. Our partner MDF guide covers the general mechanics.
Ask for SAP proof, and accept honest gaps
Few agencies have deep SAP ecosystem case studies. Prefer a firm that shows exactly which ERP or partner work it has done, and says plainly where it has none, over one that implies experience it cannot document.
Questions to ask on the first call
- What SAP, ERP or partner ecosystem work have you done, and what did you own in it?
- How would you identify accounts still on older SAP releases in our target industries and regions?
- How would you message the same migration offer to finance leaders and to IT?
- Do you mainly serve vendors running channel programs, or partners owning their own pipeline?
- How would you use SAP Sapphire, ASUG or local user groups to create meetings?
- What counts as a qualified lead for you, and how fast does it reach our sellers?
- How do you nurture accounts that are 12 to 24 months from a migration decision?
- Can you shape campaigns around an approved partner fund plan and capture proof of performance?
- Who will work on our account weekly, and what do they know about SAP buyers?
Red flags
- A generic S/4HANA migration message with no industry, process or business case angle.
- Targeting only SAP technical contacts and ignoring finance and business process owners.
- Reporting based on lead counts, with no qualification standard or pipeline view.
- Implied SAP ecosystem experience with no named work the agency can walk you through.
- Promises that partner funds will cover the program before anyone has checked your entitlement.
- Claims of an official SAP marketing designation that the agency cannot show in writing.
- Event plans that stop at the booth, with no pre-booked meetings or follow-up plan.
Next step: size your SAP migration pipeline
Before you brief an agency, list the installed-base accounts you can realistically win, your strongest industry proof and how you work with SAP account teams today. That shows whether you need positioning, account-based outreach or partner-funded campaigns first.
Lemniscate offers a free pipeline audit that reviews your ICP, target accounts, channels and conversion path, with a candid view of where our Salesforce and ServiceNow ecosystem experience does and does not transfer to SAP. Whichever firm you choose, use the questions above to test fit.
